To promote Campus Recreation’s personal training services, I and my team created this informative, entry-level fitness video series, starring personal trainers.

During my time at Auburn Campus Recreation, I’ve served as the team’s video supervisor, working with talented videographers to imagine, create and produce quality work. Along the way, I’ve learned more about the craft – about writing, shooting and editing.
The video above is from our #WorkoutWednesday series. We wanted to help Auburn students connect with our personal training staff, and I pushed for a video series. We’d shoot an episode every week or so, and then we’d share it on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
In each video, a trainer introduces themselves and then performs three quick exercises, demonstrating proper form while giving helpful advice. We’ve totaled more 7,000 views so far, which helped us fill all available personal training slots.

Additionally, we looped the videos on the dozen televisions placed throughout the facility, ensuring that our guests would see them. Through the five videos we created, we garnered more than 27,000 impressions and 7,000+ views on social alone.

Jack is an amazing young man. He truly impressed me in class. Jack is dedicated and will work his hardest to complete any task. He is always willing to take on a challenge. He can lead, but he can also take direction. He understands constructive criticism and is able to take suggestions to make his work even stronger. Jack has knowledge and ability in public relations, but he is also skilled with photography and design. Jack is able to work with others or independently. He is also respectful of others.
